- Co-winner of the Smithsonian award for technology excellence in 1993.

Lisa Griffin
Qualifications and Background
- 28 years experience in all phases of retail business management including planning, allocation, distribution, supply chain management, merchandising, marketing, and systems development.
- Developed a merchandise system strategy which included the implementation of JDA Arthur and AWR products, improved the in house replenishment software, implementation of an internet-based EDI application for purchase order management with suppliers and carriers.
- Improved merchandising financial management by enhancing systems, creating reporting and developing processes to plan/manage business at category levels.

- Improved flow of merchandise through a specialty retail distribution center by evaluating processes relative to receiving, QC inspection, allocation and inventory planning and provided recommendations for change. Supported the implementation of recommendations – revised top of production and QC processes, standardized allocation timelines, simplification of cross dock and over/short picking processes, implementation of a company-wide vendor scorecard.
- Documented current operations/business process for a start up wholesale company and provided recommendations to improve overall performance. Areas included warehouse, order management, inventory management, business partner relationships, product/production and strategic planning. Developed production calendar, beginning with product design through product receipt at the warehouse
